Energo University students became participants of Enactus KAZAKHSTAN WINTER CAMP 2024

From January 15 to 20, during the winter holidays, the team of our University Enactus Energо took part in the Enactus KAZAKHSTAN WINTER CAMP 2024 – the winter business camp of the international Enactus movement.

18 teams from all over Kazakhstan and one from Tajikistan actively exchanged ideas and pumped their knowledge in the development of student entrepreneurship.

- For five days, our students received consultations from experienced mentors from the business sector and learned new methods of social entrepreneurship, - said Yelikbai Kabi, Director of the Department of Youth Policy at Energo University. – In addition, our students were lucky enough to receive valuable advice from the President of Enactus Kazakhstan, Doctor of Philosophy Albina Yerzhanova.

According to the participants of the business camp, the presentation of projects from universities and colleges was a particularly exciting moment. Students had the opportunity to talk about their initiatives, share their experiences and receive feedback from experienced colleagues. In addition, they took part in an exciting quiz from the Kazakh brand TezTap, which gave them the opportunity to expand their knowledge about business in the region.

Enactus (until 2012 — SIFE, «Students in free enterprise») is an international non—profit organization dedicated to the development of youth entrepreneurship. The purpose of the organization is to develop business projects to achieve sustainable development goals.

Since 1995, students from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan have been participating in the project. There is a national Enactus organization in Central Asia, within which competitions are held.
