Students of AUPET have the opportunity to show their level to employers

Specialists of large companies will take part in the work of state certification commissions specializing in Automation and Control.

For students of the specialty “Automation and Control”, the defense of diploma projects will be an excellent opportunity to show their level of knowledge, skills and knowledge to specialists of well-known Kazakhstan companies in the field of design, implementation and operation of control systems in various fields of human activity.

At the Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after Gumarbek Daukeev, majoring in Automation and Control, in 2020, three state certification commissions will work in the Kazakh, Russian and English departments under the bachelor's degree program. Education in this specialty was carried out on the basis of the Department of Automation and Control, which is part of the Institute of Control Systems and Information Technologies.

The chief specialist of JSC “Kazakh Integrated Design and Research Institute Energoprom” Serik Koshekbaev will be the chairman of the commission for the protection of diploma projects in the specialty “Automation and Control” at the Kazakh branch. Sergey Afanasyev, Head of Industrial Automation at Siemens Kazakhstan, heads a commission in the English department. The defense of diploma projects in the Russian branch will be chaired by the CEO of Honeywell-Kazakhstan, Serik Abdigaliev.

Other experienced automation practitioners will also participate in the work of state certification commissions. For example, Taufik Amirbaev, Deputy General Director of Systemics, company, Kuanysh Zikirbay, head of the innovative technologies department of “Saiman” Corporation, Renat Ibragimov, head of quality control at “LLP Patentos Talgo”.

“An invitation to take part in the work of state certification commissions is one of the forms of constant interaction between our department and employers and experts of reputable companies,” says Igor Fedorenko, head of the Automation and Control department. - “Siemens-Kazakhstan” and “Honeywell-Kazakhstan” represent recognized world leaders in the field of automation in our country. They do not need special recommendations of JSC “Kazakh Integrated Design and Research Institute Energoprom”, Saiman Corporation or LLP “Patentos Talgo”. The recognized authority in the field of automation and control is the company "System Engineering".

In addition, the Department of Automation and Control of the AUPET named after Gumarbek Daukeev has an extensive list of practice bases in companies and factories throughout Kazakhstan. These companies and enterprises are also potential employers for university graduates in this specialty.
