The DAUkey robotics school is an extra curricula course for middle and high school students (from 12 to 18 years old), opened on July 4, 2016 on the basis of AUPET. The mission of the school is to form an innovative culture in Kazakhstan, encouraging interest in natural science and robotics among high school students. The goal of the DAUkey School of Robotics School is to instill an interest in science and technology, to show prospects in this field of human activity, as well as to develop the basic skills necessary for successful innovators (the ability to see and solve problems, the ability to work in a team, communication skills, skills of working with various tools). The course also contributes to the development of logical thinking, skills and abilities to independently create a technical model product. Robotics training provides students with the opportunity to become familiar with the latest advances in technology and technology of the 21st century.

The essence of any robot is hardware with a processor base and a program (or a set of programs). Having learned how to program on the Arduino module (and the program comes with a huge set of examples covering all areas of application of the module), students will be ready to create interesting and useful electronic devices, which include robots. The course begins by exploring sensors and creating simple projects that are accessible to intermediate learners. Having got acquainted with the fascinating Arduino project, students will choose robotics as their future profession. The subject of study is the principles and methods of development, design and programming of controlled electronic devices based on the Arduino computing platform. The course program consists of 3 parts: theoretical, practical (programming, assembly), creative - time for drawing up a creative project (free time). More than 100 students study at our school, acquiring engineering skills. DAUkey Robotics School specialists have developed 3 unique courses, 64 lessons of 96 hours each. The technique is constantly improving depending on global trends in modern robotics and pedagogy.

The teachers at the School of Robotics DAUkey are the best specialists in the field of robotics of the Department of Electronics and Robotics: teacher of the Department of E&R, Master of Engineering and Technology Nurgizat Yerkebulan; students and undergraduates specializing in Instrumentation - Karina Yesbukenova, Kadyrzhan Kaisarali. Classes for each group are held twice a week for 1.5 hours on Wednesdays and Saturdays in office 424 B. The duration of the first and second levels is 2 months, the duration of the third level is 4 months. Upon completion of each level, the student is issued a certificate confirming completion of the robotics course.
