Dear students!

The academic year includes 2 semesters of 15 weeks of study each.

Each discipline includes the following types of training sessions: lectures, practical, laboratory classes, student independent work (SIW). The independent work of a student includes the independent work of a student (independent work of a bachelor's student, a master's student or a doctoral student with lecturer), the performance of computational and graphic works (CGW), term papers (TP) or course projects (CP).

All students must register on the AUPET educational portal https://portal.aues.kz/ and study the syllabus of their discipline.

After studying the syllabus, the student will have access to the course program. A mandatory requirement of the course is preparation for each lesson. In addition, the activity and attendance of students during classes are taken into account when grading.

For the performance of each type of work, the student receives grades (points), which are set by the lecturer in an electronic journal. You can always view independently the grades on the AUPET educational portal https://portal.aues.kz/ .

Grades of Midterm Controls (MC) are published in the journal at the 7th and 15th weeks of training. Grades obtained from weeks 1 to 7 of training are taken into account in Midterm Control 1, from weeks 8 to 15 - in Midterm Control 2.
